Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting chapter in your life, and I’m honored to be part of it. Preparing for Your Engagement Session

Your engagement session is a fun and intimate way to celebrate your love before the big day. It also helps you get comfortable in front of the camera. Here’s how to make the most of it:

Choosing a Location

Pick a place that reflects your personality—be it a scenic park, a charming city street, or a meaningful spot in your love story.

Golden hour (the hour before sunset) is the best time for soft, flattering light.

What to Wear

Opt for outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable.

Neutral tones, pastels, and classic colors photograph beautifully.

Avoid busy patterns or large logos that might distract from the moment.

Bring a second outfit for variety—one casual, one dressy.

Hair & Makeup Tips

Professional hair and makeup can enhance your photos and boost your confidence.

If you’re unsure, consider doing a trial with your wedding day stylist.

Most Importantly, Relax & Have Fun!

The best photos happen when you’re simply enjoying the moment. Don’t stress about posing—I’ll guide you every step of the way!

Lets Plan Your Big Day

We will first meet to discuss your wedding plans, and this can happen over a nice cup of coffee in person, over the phone, via email, or even via video call. During this meeting, we will go over all the details, ideas, and any concerns you may have about your wedding photography. My goal is to ensure we create a seamless and enjoyable experience tailored to your vision. Below is a timeline of the typical process from start to finish. Most importantly, you can expect nothing less than superior service and a personalized approach to capturing your love story!

Getting to Know Each Other

Eight weeks before your wedding day we will review your completed questionnaire to learn more about you as a couple. This helps me understand your wedding day vision and make your photography experience unique to you.

Checking the Plans

One month before your wedding, I will coordinate with you (and your planner if you're using one-highly recommended) to ensure your photography schedule is seamlessly integrated into your wedding timeline. My goal is to make sure your day flows smoothly and that we capture every meaningful moment without stress.

Finalizing Finances

The full payment for photography services is due one week prior to your wedding day. This ensures everything is in place so you can simply enjoy your special day.

It’s Almost Time

One week before your wedding, I will check in with you to go over any final details and make any necessary last-minute adjustments to the timeline.

Congratulations!

You’re officially married! One week after your wedding, I will post a sneak peek of your photos for you and your loved ones to enjoy.

Your Gallery Goes Live

No later than eight weeks after your wedding, your full online gallery will be available for viewing and downloading high-resolution images.

Timeless Albums & Wall Art

Two weeks after selecting your favorite images for printing, you will receive your wedding album proofs. A beautifully designed album is a stunning way to relive your wedding day, and custom wall art allows you to showcase your love story in your home.

Wedding Day Photography Tips

Your wedding day will go by in a flash, but your photos will preserve the magic forever. Here’s how to ensure everything goes smoothly:

Getting Ready

Choose a space with plenty of natural light for the best photos.

Keep clutter to a minimum so the focus stays on you and your details.

Have all your bridal accessories ready: dress, shoes, jewelry, invitation suite, perfume, and sentimental items.

If possible, ensure your hair and makeup are done before your photographer arrives. We want to capture you looking your best, and we only need photos of the touch-ups.

First Look (Optional)

A private first look can be a beautiful and intimate moment before the ceremony.

It allows for extra portraits and can help ease any pre-ceremony nerves.

Seeing each other before the ceremony can create a relaxed, joyful atmosphere, allowing you to be fully present when you walk down the aisle.

A first look also provides more flexibility in your wedding day timeline, giving you more time for portraits and reducing the need to rush through photos after the ceremony.

Ceremony Photography

Consider an unplugged ceremony so guests can be present without distractions.

If you have specific must-have shots, let me know ahead of time.

Golden Hour Portraits

Sunset is the best time for dreamy, romantic portraits.

If possible, carve out 15-20 minutes for photos during this time.

Reception & Candid Moments

From the first dance to the grand exit, I’ll capture all the joy and celebration.

Let loose and enjoy—you’ve planned this day to perfection!

Bridal Emergency Kit Checklist

  • Prepare for any unexpected hiccups with a small emergency kit:
  • Safety pins & fashion tape
  • Blotting papers & powder
  • Lipstick & touch-up makeup
  • Hairpins & mini hairspray
  • Comfortable shoes for dancing and for portrait session (heels get tired real quick!)
  • Tissues (for happy tears!)
  • Mints or gum
  • Water & a snack (you’ll need energy!), most venues will provide this also.

The Importance of Wedding Albums & Wall Art

Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and your photos deserve more than just a digital folder on your computer. Imagine walking into your home and seeing a breathtaking wall art piece that transports you back to that magical day. A beautifully crafted wedding album allows you to relive every heartfelt moment, page by page, for years to come.

Why Invest in an Album?

  • It’s a tangible way to preserve your love story, something you can hold and pass down through generations.
  • Unlike digital images that can get lost over time, a professionally designed album ensures your memories stay safe and beautifully displayed.
  • Each album is custom-made with premium materials to showcase your wedding in the most timeless and elegant way.

Wall Art: Bringing Your Love Story to Life

  • Transform your home with stunning canvas, metal, or framed prints that celebrate your love every single day.
  • Every time you walk by, you’ll be reminded of the joy, laughter, and love shared on your wedding day.
  • These pieces aren’t just decorations—they’re heirlooms that tell your story.
  • Let’s create something truly special that you’ll cherish forever.

Final Thoughts

Your wedding day is about love, celebration, and making memories. Trust in the process, soak in every moment, and know that I am here to capture the beauty, laughter, and joy of your story.

I can’t wait to document this incredible chapter of your life. See you soon!
